The White Plains Tigers entered their tilt with the Greeley Quakers with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. White Plains simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Quakers 72-44 at home. White Plains' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Ineivi Plata, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. Tess Haddad was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
White Plains has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Greeley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Plains will challenge the Foxes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fox Lane will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Tigers are ranked 85th). As for Greeley, they will head out on the road to take on the Pride at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
