1A North Central recap September 4, 2013
Wiggins's Austin Dinis recorded the longest rushing play in 1A North Central this season in his game against Byers last week. Dinis' team topped the Bulldogs as he sprinted for 52 yards on the play and finished with 185 in all.
Trevor Dalton and Bradley Cumming provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Perkins County. The connection went for 60 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Holyoke's dynamic duo of Dalton and Cumming proved tough for the Plainsmen to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dalton threw for 100 yards and Cumming had 60 yards receiving. Logan Tharp helped Holyoke's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 40 yards.

Dinis was a passing and rushing force as Wiggins bested Byers. Dinis' favorite target this week was Terran Freauff, who caught 2 passes for 27 yards.
Dinis was the best running back in the league this week. Corey Ritchey also contributed to the rushing game with 92 yards on the ground.
Cumming was the best receiver in 1A North Central this week as John Zilla's team topped the Plainsmen.
The Dragons' Dalton and Cumming have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dinis from Mitchea Risner's team leads the league in rushing with 185 yards.
The Tigers were the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to first in the league. Earlier in the week, Wiggins triumphed over David Dodge's team 39-7.
