Canton is 8-2 against South Shelby since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Canton Tigers will look to defend their home court against the South Shelby Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Canton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Canton earned a 57-46 victory over Clark County. The win made it back-to-back wins for Canton.
It was another big night for Preston Brewer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Canton's points. Tyler Frazier was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, South Shelby came up short against Monroe City on Thursday and fell 47-37.
Canton's victory bumped their season record to 5-1 while Clark County's defeat dropped theirs to 4-3.
