Veritas Academy can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Vanguard College Prep Vikings out  9-8. This was a revenge  contest for Veritas Academy, as the team was forced to settle for  a  4-3 loss when these two played  last Thursday.

 In other batting news,  Will Gengler was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  double.  Sam Kuhn was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Veritas Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Vanguard College Prep, their defeat was  their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-13.
 Veritas Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  10-0  loss vs. Hill Country Christian School of Austin on the 22nd. Vanguard College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
