Softball Recap: Pulaski's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Pulaski can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They never let the Notre Dame Academy Tritons get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The result came thanks to Addison Luebke's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Pulaski's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kianna Altendorf, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

Pulaski's record is now 5-7. As for Notre Dame Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Pulaski will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bay Port at 4:30 p.m. The Red Raiders will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will square off against Green Bay Preble at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Tritons surely won't give up without a fight.
