Loyola suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 35-14 loss to Loyola. The Cubs had been ranked 23rd, but fell to 27 following the defeat.
Crespi was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Westlake 43-17. The Celts came in at 9 in the state poll after placing at number 30 last week.
Notre Dame's Kelly Hilinski and Koa Farmer have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Serra in both passing and receiving yards. Hilinski has thrown for 584 yards this season, while Farmer, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 11 catches for 208 yards. Wyatt Bradford from Loyola leads the league in rushing with 424 yards.
Crespi extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Warriors, 43-17. The win marks sixth in a row for the Jon Mack's team.
