Allentown Central Catholic is 0-10 against Parkland since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will host the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Allentown Central Catholic's victory against Pocono Mountain West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Panthers 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Kairi Charles 2026 was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Julia Janis, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parkland). They put the hurt on William Allen with a sharp 20-1 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Trojans have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Fritzinger looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Scerena Reed, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Belletieri, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Parkland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are 6-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Parkland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Allentown Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
Allentown Central Catholic might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Parkland in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Vikings have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
