For the second straight game, Riverview will face off against South Side. The Raiders will challenge the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Riverview's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when South Side hitters got past them. The Raiders lost 16-2 to the Rams on Monday. That makes it the first time this season the Raiders have let down their home crowd.

For South Side's part, Carter Wilson made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Wilson has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, South Side got a massive performance out of Tyler STaab, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Staab also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rj Fisher, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and four RBI.

South Side always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The victory (which was South Side's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Riverview, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-2.

Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Riverview has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .435. However, it's not like South Side struggles in that department as they've averaged .483. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
