There's no place like home for Liberty Tree Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Ascent Classical Academy Guardians on Thursday as the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles made off with a 56-35 win. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Liberty Tree Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Allen, who posted seven points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Allen a new career-high in rebounds. Zack Smith also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Ascent Classical Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Jack Colberg and Isaac Hutchins. Colberg went 5-for-9 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven boards and four steals, while Hutchins almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Liberty Tree Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24 points. Ascent Classical Academy dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Liberty Tree Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-31 victory against Kiowa on the 18th. As for Ascent Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-39 win against Poudre Community Academy on the 19th.
