Coastal HomeSchool and Providence Athletic Club are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes are taking a road trip to face off against the Providence Athletic Club Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.
Coastal HomeSchool is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Alleluia Community for the full four quarters, racking up an 86-45 victory. The Hurricanes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Coastal HomeSchool's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Micah Faith, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 25 points and six boards, and Alijah McField, who went 10 for 15 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. That's the most points McField has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of QZ Stephan, who posted seven points.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Providence Athletic Club took on Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics on Saturday. Providence Athletic Club walked away with a 66-54 win over Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics.
Coastal HomeSchool better keep an eye on Brody Tyler. He was instrumental in Providence Athletic Club's win, going 9 of 13 on his way to 25 points. Tyler continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Mark Lara was another key player, going 6 for 9 en route to 15 points.
Providence Athletic Club smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics only pulled down five offensive boards.
Coastal HomeSchool pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Providence Athletic Club, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Coastal HomeSchool beat Providence Athletic Club 55-42 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coastal HomeSchool since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
