The Overland Trailblazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 26 points or more this season. They blew past Northglenn 59-25 on the road. With Overland ahead 39-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Leading Overland to victory were Seilani Relford and Destiny Moore. Relford scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Moore scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Moore hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Aziza Abdul-Razaaq, who scored eight points.
Overland pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Northglenn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-1 record this season.
Overland will take on Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Kennedy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 back in December of 2023. As for Northglenn, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Longmont at 1:00 p.m.
