Pinecrest Academy Cadence got themselves on the board against Amplus Academy on Monday, but Amplus Academy never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Amplus Academy Archers 34-0. Considering the Cougars have won 11 contests by more than 19 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win came down to the chemistry between Leyton Gasperosky and her top target Patricia Monacelli. Gasperosky threw for 193 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.4% of her passes while Monacelli picked up 117 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns Gasperosky has posted since back in December of 2024.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sarah Nason and Alia Bindrup.

The victory (which was Pinecrest Academy Cadence's eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.5 points per game. As for Amplus Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence has already played their next match, a 32-25 defeat against Legacy on the 23rd. As for Amplus Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 28-18 win against Desert Pines on the 22nd.
