The Lake Region Christian Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 61-39 loss at the hands of Woodcrest Baptist Academy. Lake Region Christian has not had much luck with Woodcrest Baptist Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Harley Amundson, who scored two points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Stephens, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Lake Region Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Woodcrest Baptist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Region Christian will take on Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodcrest Baptist Academy, they will be playing at home against Chisago Lakes Baptist at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Chisago Lakes Baptist focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Monday.
