Softball Recap: Whitehall's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Whitehall entered their tilt with Louis E. Dieruff on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Huskies 13-3. The Zephyrs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Nya Brown, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Paige Tacker, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Whitehall's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Louis E. Dieruff, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
