Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Porter-Gaud). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Baptist Hill Bobcats 58-15. The win was some much needed relief for the Cyclones as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Baptist Hill lost, don't look at Shaniya Gathers. Despite the final result, she posted two points and three steals.

Porter-Gaud's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Baptist Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Porter-Gaud will take on Christ Church Episcopal in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Baptist Hill, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-27 win against Hardeeville on the 17th.
