The West Deptford Eagles will challenge the Cumberland Colts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. West Deptford is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
Audubon hit West Deptford with a six-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Wave.

Landon Delaney led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for West Deptford: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Juan Morales, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Cumberland never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Triton. The Colts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to Jonathan Rossi's shutout, as he gave up just nine hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Cumberland got a big performance out of Kameron Fiorani, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Trevor Brogen, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Cumberland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Cumberland pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for West Deptford, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
West Deptford was able to grind out a solid victory over Cumberland when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 7-3. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Colts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
