After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Christian, Forest Hills Central was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ottawa Hills Bengals as they made off with  a  17-2 victory.
 Brooke Cullinane made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (and only one walk). Cullinane was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Keeley Sprik and  Karianna Wierenga did most of the damage at the plate:  Sprik  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base, while  Wierenga  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double.  Micah McClarty was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  RBI.
Forest Hills Central's win  ended  a  ten-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-1. As for Ottawa Hills,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
