The PURE Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against BDOMaxPrepsTeamGame at 6:55 p.m. on October 13th.
Last Friday, PURE Academy lost to Lewis County on the road by a decisive 44-26 margin.
Meanwhile, everything went Crockett County's's way against Obion County two Fridays ago as Crockett County made off with a 27-7 victory. The result was nothing new for Crockett County, who have now won four contests by 24 points or more so far this season.
Deuce Greenhill was his usual excellent self, rushing for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
PURE Academy's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-0 Hardin County and 8-0 Pearl-Cohn (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 72.8% over those games). As for Crockett County, their win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-2.
