The Seton Catholic Central Saints will be home for the holidays to greet  the New Hartford Spartans at 6:15  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Tuesday,  the stars were shining brightly for Seton Catholic Central in a  60-42 victory over Owego Free Academy.
 Seton Catholic Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Johnny Hopf led the charge by  scoring 24 points along with seven  rebounds. The  contest was  Hopf's third in a row with at least ten points.  Allan Eagles was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, New Hartford had to endure  a  six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy  48-34 win over Whitesboro on Tuesday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  win New Hartford has managed all season.
 Seton Catholic Central's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for New Hartford, their win bumped their record up to 1-4.
