The Bartlett Hawks will challenge the Glenbard South Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bartlett will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Bartlett is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Aurora East a 17-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Hawks have beaten the Tomcats the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tomcats has come to flipping the script.

Tino Acevedo looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bartlett got a massive performance out of Alex Bihun, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI Bihun has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Josh Colaizzi, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Bartlett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 11.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Glenbard South was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against Benet Academy, falling 13-2. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Redwings: they've now lost five in a row.
Glenbard South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Frankie Cassata, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Bartlett pushed their record up to 7-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Glenbard South, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bartlett has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Glenbard South struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
