Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Centerville walked away with it. They came out on top against the Garrison Bulldogs by a score of 9-5 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Friday, they had to take a 4-2 loss.

Jacob Brooke was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jake Pineda, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Centerville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4-1 record this season. As for Garrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-6.

Looking ahead, Centerville will square off against Harleton on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. Garrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
