Leipsic lost to Edgerton on Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Vikings walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Bulldogs.

Leipsic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Niese, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Tommy Offenbacher was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Leipsic is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Edgerton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
