Fort Bragg has gone a perfect 10-0 against Willits recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Timberwolves will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Fort Bragg is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Point Arena. The Timberwolves put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 18-12 win two weeks ago. The Timberwolves not only won two weeks ago, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2025 (when they won 13-3).

The team relied heavily on Autumn Baxman, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (four). Taylor Hawk was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Fort Bragg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. They got seven more hits than Point Arena's also-impressive total of 14.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Willits). They were the clear victors by a 27-1 margin over Round Valley on Tuesday. Considering the Wolverines have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Abigail Sherf and Lisa Arkelian made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Sherf pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Arkelian struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. At bat, Sherf went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI, while Arkelian went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That run marked the first that Arkelian has scored this season.
In other batting news, Jazmarie Henson was a standout: she got on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alexandra Ramos, who went a perfect 6-for-6 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
Everything went Fort Bragg's way against Willits when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Fort Bragg made off with an 18-4 victory. Do the Timberwolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
