Cummins Made His Presence Known in Neah Bay's 68-16 Win
Starting off the list is Neah Bay's Caleb Cummins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cummins rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those 184 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
The victory (which was Neah Bay's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Cummins and Neah Bay will host Lummi at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jodell Wimberly Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Saturday, Neah Bay got the W thanks in part to Jodell Wimberly playing the best football he has all season. Wimberly rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 53 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (110.4) per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2023.
If the past is any indication, Wimberly could be in store for another big game when he takes on Lummi on Friday. Wimberly rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Blackhawks duked it out back in October of 2023.

Mason Iverson Turns in Season-Best Effort
Mason Iverson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Quilcene to the win on Saturday. Iverson rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 87 yards.
The victory (which was Quilcene's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Iverson and Quilcene will take on Darrington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Perez-Lopez Posts Huge Game in 51-16 Win
Keeping Iverson company is Andrew Perez-Lopez, a fellow Quilcene player. He rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 38 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended a pass.
If the past is any indication, Perez-Lopez could be in store for another big game when he takes on Darrington on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Perez-Lopez saw the Loggers), he rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.

Big Game from Ellis As Neah Bay Won 68-16
Adan Ellis put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Saturday. He picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
Crescent's probably not too fond of Ellis given he always seems to get the better of them. When Ellis last faced the Loggers back in September of 2023, he picked up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
