Edison is 0-6 against Jackson since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Edison Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Jackson Generals at 7:30 p.m. Edison comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Thursday, Edison took a serious blow against Northwestern, falling 80-17. Edison was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 64-5.
Meanwhile, Jackson came up short against Miami Beach on Thursday and fell 60-53. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jackson has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Jackson got a solid performance out of Jordany Fils-Aime, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. The match was Fils-Aime's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Robert Carr, who scored seven points.
Edison's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Edison was dealt a bruising 73-17 loss at the hands of Jackson when the teams last played back in November. Can Edison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
