Mt. Enterprise strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Alto Yellowjackets 64-15. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mt. Enterprise to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joel Otwell, who rushed for 150 yards and a pair of scores. Those 150 rushing yards gave Otwell a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Kaegan Ash, who rushed for 79 yards and three TDs on only seven carries.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Mt. Enterprise's defense and their six sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece ( Rj Roberts, Kaden Bryant, Ryan Mckelvey, and Case Pieper also recorded half a sack). Mt. Enterprise received some extra help from Pieper, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Mt. Enterprise's record now sits at 10-0. As for Alto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
