The biggest upset of the week belonged to Forest, who took down 197th ranked Forest, 29-10. Ben Hatch threw for 161 yards and one touchdown and ran for 101 yards in the win.
Lincoln extended the longest winning streak in 7A District 1 this week by beating Buchholz, 45-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Mike Dunn was the best wideout in the league this week as Chiles defeated the Wildcats. Dunn tallied five receptions for 109 yards. Derrall Howard helped Chiles' passing attack out by catching two balls for 43 yards.
Jordan Nichols put up the best numbers through the air as the Bobcats fell to Lincoln. He finished with 10 completions for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Nichols' favorite target this week was Jalen Johnson, who caught two passes for 26 yards.
The Timberwolves' Hatch and Dunn have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hatch has thrown for 1046 yards this season, while Dunn has 20 catches for 299 yards. Buchholz's Kenny Scott leads the league in rushing yards with 661.
Chiles moved up to 230 from 276 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 1. A 29-10 win over Forest helped the Timberwolves improve their standing.
