Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bennington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxon Dumont, who rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Quinton Archer was another major influence, as he rushed for 75 yards and ran in a TD.
Mount Michael Benedictine's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 5.3 points per game. As for Bennington, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Mount Michael Benedictine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bennington will stay at home for another week and welcome Crete at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Crete will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Bennington is ranked eighth).
