Horicon won the last time they faced Random Lake and things went their way on Thursday too. The Marshmen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Rams.

Emily Bunkoske paced Horicon's offense, picking up six kills. Bunkoske were helped by Eliana Rivera and Haily Niemuth, who contributed eight assists each. Finally, Hailey Firari kept Horicon's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Horicon's victory bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Random Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-23.

Horicon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Winnebago Lutheran Academy on the 21st. As for Random Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Markesan on the 16th.
