Clovis had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Goddard Rockets as they made off with a 64-42 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Clovis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kerrington Goff, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Goff a new career-high in boards. Mariana Villezcas was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds.

Clovis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

Goddard lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jazmin De Leon, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points. De Leon is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Natalie Hardwick, who posted five points and 17 boards.

Clovis is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Goddard, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Clovis is taking a road trip to challenge Portales at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Clovis' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. Goddard has already played their next matchup (against Santa Teresa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
