The Linganore Lancers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 47-43 W over Governor Thomas Johnson. This was payback for Linganore, who suffered a 66-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Linganore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Hodgson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Christian Petruzzello was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
Linganore's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Governor Thomas Johnson, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North Hagerstown the next time they take the court. Linganore will host the Hubs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Patriots will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th.
