The Blair Bears came up short against the Aurora Huskies on Thursday and fell  3-1.
 Blair started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-21, 25-18,  25-20.

 Despite the  defeat, Blair saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Addi Svehla  had 26  digs and three  aces. Svehla has been hot recently, having  posted 25 or more  digs the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Wolff, who  had 39  assists and 14  digs.
 Aurora was led to victory by  Paityn Wyatt and  Baya Chamness.  Wyatt  had 11  digs, while  Chamness  had three  digs and three  aces. That's the most  digs  Wyatt has posted since back in September.
Blair's loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Aurora, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-11.
As of now, neither Blair nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
