Alcester-Hudson will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Avon in at 7:00 PM.
Alcester-Hudson had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian 34-12.
Meanwhile,, Avon couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 0-58 loss at the hands of Corsica/Stickney.
Alcester-Hudson's lifted them to 1-0 while Avon's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Alcester-Hudson can add another positive mark to their record or if Avon can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Alcester-Hudson's step.
