Aspen (Colo.) took an early lead against
Pagosa Springs (Colo.) and held on for a 21-0 victory on Saturday.
The Skiers put up seven points in the opening frame. Aspen scored on a punt return touchdown by
Tyler Tick.
After taking the lead on a punt return touchdown by Tick in the first quarter, AHS was up 15-0 at the half.
The loss was the third in a row for the Pirates. The win brought Aspen's winning streak to three games.
Pagosa Springs (0-3) will play a 2A Western game against Basalt next week, while Aspen (3-0) will take on Bayfield also in a 2A Western game.
