The City Honors Centaurs will head out on the road to face off against the Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Wednesday, City Honors beat Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts 63-56. The win was just what City Honors needed coming off of a 81-37 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 61-55 to Riverside.
City Honors' win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
City Honors strolled past Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 53-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for City Honors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
