Leading Braymer to victory were Carter Shoe and Dakota Brandon. Shoe scored 18 points along with five rebounds, while Brandon scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shoe has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Haley, who scored eight points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Braymer's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Excelsior Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
Braymer won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Richmond at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. One thing working in Richmond's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for Excelsior Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Winnetonka at 7:00 p.m.
