4A Region 8 recap Nov. 7, 2012
Forrest County Agricultural extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 8 this week by beating Northeast Lauderdale, 42-20. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Bay was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Northeast Jones. The Tigers came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
Greene County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Terrance Woods threw for 196 and three touchdowns and Tyler McCann had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Lamarcus Franks chipped in 194 yards. Devin Pettey helped Greene County's passing attack out by catching three balls for 84 yards.
St. Stanislaus's Tyler Allen and Brennan Bradley have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Allen has thrown for 1860 yards this season, while Bradley has 47 catches for 816 yards. Justus Williams from Bay leads the league in rushing with 1439 yards.
In 127 carries Terren Crowley has accumulated 963 yard this year.
