Buckeye Local had a senior duo take command as Brynn McKeever scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and Pamela Kandrach dropped a double-double on 16 points and 23 rebounds. Kandrach has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Ankrom, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Buckeye Local has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Shadyside, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Buckeye Local will head out on the road to face off against Martins Ferry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Martins Ferry will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Shadyside will take on Bellaire at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
