After flying high against Texas City last Friday, Santa Fe came back down to earth. The Santa Fe Indians took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ball Tornadoes on Tuesday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tornadoes earlier this season, when they won 71-47.
Leading Ball to victory were Braeon Arceneaux and Kalyn Toussaint. Arceneaux almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds, while Toussaint went 7-for-17 on her way to 20 points and five assists. Elle Buergler was another key player, putting up six points.
Santa Fe dropped their record down to 11-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ball, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-13.
