They were dealt a 41-6 defeat at the hands of the Manitou Springs Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Miners of the 53-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Travis Agbosse was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Logan Moore went supernova for Manitou Springs, rushing for 197 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also picking up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown.
