Highlands Gets a Boost from Litmer in  55-0  Victory
 Starting off the list is Highlands's  Rio Litmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Litmer threw for 134 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He is  on a roll when it comes to  passing touchdowns, as he's  now  passed for three or more in the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 On the season,  Litmer  has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 161.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 58  passing yards per game.

Keagan Maher and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
  Keagan Maher's big game helped extend Cooper's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop  Maher as he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Unfortunately for Scott, this isn't the first big game they've seen from  Maher. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Maher saw the Eagles), he rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries.

Mason Stanton Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 Cooper picked up their eighth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Mason Stanton. Stanton showed up in a big way, picking up  two  sacks and making seven total tackles. Thanks to that strong showing,  he's  now averaging 5.1  total tackles per game. We rated that as his best  effort of the season, edging out his previous best set  two weeks ago.
 On the season,  Stanton  has averaged 5.1 total tackles per game  and for the season has  those 2 sacks. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had one  sack.

Isaiah Johnson Dazzles in Cooper Victory
 Cooper picked up their eighth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Isaiah Johnson. Scott had no answer to  Johnson  as he picked up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Johnson is probably looking forward to his next game, a  home matchup against Boone County on Friday. When  Johnson last faced the Rebels  back in October of 2023, he picked up 181 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

T.J. Hicks Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 Highlands was led to victory by  T.J. Hicks, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Hicks picked up  a  sack, forced a fumble,  and made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 This season,  Hicks  has averaged 7.2 total tackles per game  and for the season has  those 1 sack. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 0.88  total tackles per game.
