 In other batting news,  Trey Buchholz and  Reiss Gaines did most of the damage at the plate:  Buchholz  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base, while  Gaines  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Gaines is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last six games he's  played.  Tavyn MacDonell was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Bolivar-Richburg's win was  their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 21-2. As for Kendall, they now  have a losing record at 5-6.
