Everything went their way against Ahoskie Christian on Tuesday as Terra Ceia Christian made off with a 56-36 win. This was a revenge contest for Terra Ceia Christian, as the team was forced to settle for a 59-56 defeat when these two played last Monday.
Terra Ceia Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Meijer, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 22 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Meijer has scored all season. Ryan Ange was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 19 rebounds.
Terra Ceia Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Ahoskie Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-16.
Terra Ceia Christian will take on Calvary Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Baptist Church has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Ahoskie Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Pamlico Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
