Basketball Recap: Midfield Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Midfield won the last time they faced Prattville Christian Academy, and Kamiya Webb did her part to make sure it happened again. The Midfield Patriots took down the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers 63-44 on Saturday thanks in part to Webb, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 15 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 42 games she's played dating back to last season.

Otiscia Towns was another key player, putting up eight points along with 11 assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Midfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Prattville Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Midfield will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Childersburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Midfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.2 points per game this season. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-48 loss against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy on the 27th.
