After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newbury Park Adventist, the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy with a sharp 51-28 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rio Lindo Adventist also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Hunter McNunn was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 12 points along with four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was McKinley Ingham, who scored five points along with two steals.
The victory got Rio Lindo Adventist back to even at 9-9. As for Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Lindo Adventist won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Summerfield Waldorf is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
