Everything went Carvers Bay's way against the Wolverines as the Bears made off with a 58-36 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Carvers Bay has managed all season.
Carvers Bay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Christian Washington out in front who scored 15 points along with four steals. It was the first time this season that Washington scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenard Heyward, who scored 20 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Hemingway's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 55-47 to Scott's Branch. Hemingway has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Carvers Bay is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Hemingway, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
