Basketball Recap: Delta Has No Trouble Against Carbon

Delta was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Carbon on Wednesday. The Delta Rabbits blew past the Carbon Dinos 63-43. The Rabbits have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Mason Robinson was his usual excellent self, going 6 of 14 en route to 18 points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaytn Brough, who posted ten points.

Several Dinos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cannon Mortensen, who put up 15 points and eight rebounds. Carter Warburton was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points.

Delta's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Carbon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-45 defeat against North Sanpete on the 20th. As for Carbon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-53 loss against Richfield on the 20th.
