Wayne Trace can attribute much of their success to Lorie Sinn, who had four aces and three digs, and Olivia Zartman, who had five digs and 15 assists. The dominant performance gave Sinn a new career-high in aces.
Wayne Trace was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jefferson only served three.
Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Wayne Trace, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Fairview beat Wayne Trace 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairview since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
