Hazel Green and Sparkman are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Senators at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hazel Green is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Hazel Green can't be too worried about heading out to take on Sparkman: they just beat Madison County at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Trojans came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 13-10 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Hazel Green has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .461. However, it's not like Sparkman struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Hazel Green came up short against Sparkman in their previous meeting back in March, falling 13-8. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
