The Baldwin Braves stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Howard on the road to the tune of 76-20. The win was familiar territory for Baldwin who now have 11 in a row.
Leading Baldwin to victory were Janaye Walker and Madison Ruff. Walker dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Ruff scored 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Walker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 13 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy?Keria Paschal, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Baldwin pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Howard, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Baldwin will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Perry at 6:00 p.m. Perry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Baldwin is ranked 14th). As for Howard, they will head out on the road to face off against Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Spalding is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
